High Quality, Durable, Plated Copper v6 style nozzles for 1.75mm filament.
These nozzles are engineered for ultimate high temperature performance. Made from a special high temperature copper-alloy with a softening point of well above 500°C. They have an increased thermal conductivity making them perfect for high temperature applications, while working perfectly with everyday filaments like PLA, ABS, PETG and TPU.
In addition to high temperature performance these nozzles have an high quality nickel based plating. This considerably reduces the adhesion of thermoplastic to the nozzle. This is great for everyday filaments keeping things clean and shiny, but is particularly important at temperatures above 300°C where a silicone sock simply can't be used.
Copper has more than 3x the thermal conductivity of brass and the copper alloy used in these nozzles has been hardened and treated to reduce the oxidation that occurs in copper at high temperatures. The higher thermal conductivity has a small drawback will increase your heat-up times slightly but can provide tighter temperature control by reducing fluctuations.
3D printing with abrasives such as carbon fiber, glow-in-the-dark PLA or even filled filaments like woodfill all take their toll on a standard nozzle. These nozzles will handle these abrasive materials well but will wear out quicker than a A2 Hardened steel nozzle due to their Hardness (Mohs) rating. These nozzles are fully compatible with the E3D Ecosystem and will fit V6, Lite6, and Titan Aero HotEnds, Prusa 3D printers, E3D V6 Clones and J-Heads.
Genuine E3D Prusa Nozzles feature an all-metal filament guide, ensuring that the entire path of the filament through the Nextruder is all-metal, no PTFE tubes anywhere.
This improves the overall reliability of the printer and makes changing nozzles much faster.

Nozzle X from E3D's V6 line-up is recommended for printing abrasive material and at high temperatures, which causes the standard brass nozzle to wear out very quickly.
